Visited a High Conflict Zone last night...

Hi,

Almost got my behind handed to me in my Viper Smashed windscreen under life support, hull at 26%,
I ran out of there after picking a fight with a heavily armed ASP lol. What type of ship/armament should
I be taking into that sort of zone?
Please help.
